Education is not complete without music, art, sports, creativity, teamwork and leadership. At DPS, we choose meaningful activities that genuinely build character — and give them real attention.
With the school week now reduced to five days, school time is more precious than ever. So instead of running too many activities thinly, DPS focuses on what matters most: strong academics, language development, character formation, digital skills — and selected, meaningful ECA and life skills done well. Less, but better.
From a young age, students learn selected practical skills they will use for the rest of their lives — this is what makes DPS different.
Students prepare simple meals and learn to care for their environment.
Basic household repair skills, taught hands-on.
Basic grooming and beauty-skill training.
Students grow alongside fields and crops — literally.
Stitching and garment basics for self-reliance.
Creative and practical painting projects around the school.
Students graduate typing fluently in both English and Nepali.
Learning outside the classroom, in the real world.
Dedication is the only requirement for learning. Every activity we run builds something lasting: creativity, teamwork, confidence, or leadership.
Music puts life in every heart. Our young musicians are motivated, creative and talented.
Physical development, health, and learning to win and lose together.
Sketching, pen art and painting — students explore and express their creativity.
Speaking with confidence in Nepali and English, and leading with responsibility.
Congratulations to every student who took part in the DPS Quiz Competition held on August 28, 2026. The competition brought students together in province teams across junior and senior divisions.

Students participated as candidates, voters and election officials across five simulated constituencies.
They counted direct and proportional votes and converted the result into a 275-seat parliament.
Complete vote records, seat calculations, winners and printable certificates are available on the activity page.
