DPS is not trying to replace Nepali with English. We are helping students become bilingual, confident, and future-ready — strong enough to serve Nepal, and confident enough to communicate with the wider world.

Some schools let Nepali become weak while chasing English. We do not. Our students must be prepared for Nepal's education system, government examinations, future government work and public service, communication with society, and responsible citizenship. We want every student to read, write, speak and understand Nepali properly — and to know Nepali culture, history and identity with pride.

A child who is strong in Nepali but weak in English is limited in the modern world. A child who is fluent in English but weak in Nepali is limited in their own country. At DPS, we refuse to make that trade. Both languages, properly taught, give our students the freedom to choose any future — in Nepal or beyond.
